Continuing my Parade of Shoes, I am moving to the front of the parade to give you float number one, the Muses Officers float. Muses founder and captain, Staci Rosenberg and the officers choose not to follow the parading tradition of riding at the front of the parade on white horses. These parade officials instead lead the flamboyant procession on the title float. Deep blue, decorated with ivy leaves, white and silver stars and powder blue clouds, the signature officers float is the evening’s coach for the daughters of Zeus.
When this shoe came into my possession, I knew right away what I wanted to do with it. The wedge heel provides ample real estate to capture float details such as the street tiles, stars, and clouds.
